"First time stay here -we loved it, receptionist was very welcoming - we were in a 1 bedroom apartment on 3rd floor awesome sea views - there's a fabulous restaurant onsite really nice food and they make yummy cocktails too- playground right across the road if you have little ones also a diary block away , highly recommend !!"

good view convenient location

The room had a good view and the location proved convenient. I guess that's fine.

Check-out at 10:00 AM seemed rather early. They claimed this hour was standard in New Zealand. I think offering an extra hour would improve customer service.

great location, slight room issues

terrace kitchenette heated plunge pools sandy beach

i found this hotel a great base for exploring the bay of islands. my studio on the top floor had a terrace and kitchenette. the large pool area also includes heated plunge pools. the beach in front had sand, unlike the pebbly beach around the corner.

my room had some rough spots, like chipped edges and paint chips. the electric plugs also seemed a little unsafe. i think better upkeep should be standard for the price.

Really good Stay, HIGHLY Recommended!

heated pools excellent sized room lovely location

I really enjoyed the room with its couches and desk. This was perfect for my needs. The heated pools were my FAVORITE part!!! I found them very relaxing. I also appreciated the location, easy to walk to the ferry for cruises and to access the town's shops.

The gym was a bit small.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The team left a sweet birthday note in my room which I thought was a very nice gesture. They were very caring and attentive .

I found the food at the restaurant to be excellent!!! There were wonderful views from the dining area. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient at their work, made my meal even better.

The pool area was well maintained with multiple heated plunge pools. I also used the onsite laundry, very practical. The hotel provides easy access to a sandy beach right across the street.
